Volunteer!

Nothing could be easier than joining our volunteer force of caregivers. We, our care receivers, and the greater community appreciate any help you can give, be it visiting, driving, helping out at our offices, or even just making a friend. Just a couple of hours a month could make a difference in the life of a neighbor in Jefferson County. We hope you'll find it as rewarding as others have.

Here's how to get started:

• Review our Volunteer Policies and Procedures.
• Read our Standards for Caregivers, which should answer most questions regarding services, standards and issues you might have.
• Print out our Volunteer Application Form, fill it out, and return it to our offices.

Our volunteers may elect to receive a stipend for mileage whenever they drive our care receivers. To learn more, please read our Mileage Stipend for Volunteers Policy. Once you have read the policy, you may download and print out our Volunteer Time Card and Stipend Request.

That's it! Now we'll be able to launch you on your own journey of volunteer caregiving and service to others. Remember, if you need to speak to us in person, call or drop by our offices so we can discuss any concerns you may have.
